Hyundai Canada
Hyundai Canada was established in 1983 and is headquartered in Markham, Ontario. The company has long been committed to creating a workforce that is representative of the wonderfully diverse people of Canada. Hyundai has implemented numerous initiatives to encourage workplace diversity, including: mandatory unconscious bias training for employees, AI resume screening to ensure fair hiring practices and creating two employee resource groups – Women@HACC and Inclusion@HACC – to provide support, development and community involvement opportunities for all staff who choose to join. In addition, together these two groups form the Diversity Advisory Board which meets with HACC’s President & CEO monthly. Hyundai’s commitment to diversity extends to our communities in the form of partnerships and sponsorships including two scholarship awards at Georgian / ABSC.
